Procrastination!

Procrastination is the core of evil. It sneaks up on you when you least expect it and sabotages all your good intentions. I know this because I procrastinate. Yes I admit it! I PROCRASTINATE! I am not proud of it yet I do it frequently.

Most recently I have been procrastinating writing my blog.  It doesn’t take long, I enjoy it and it even inspires me so why the procrastination? All that procrastination does is create more of the same. It makes me feel guilty and creates stress. It´s really easy to fix actually. All you need is a little personal integrity. I love anything that has to do with marketing, the internet or coaching so I am always on the lookout for some new information or a new way of looking at things.

While surfing the blogsphere I  came across some good advice in Good Karma Coaching. There she talks about how important it is to support yourself in whatever you are doing.

I discovered an interesting woman the other day,Lee Milteer. She is a productivity coach and according to her procrastination can cause all kinds of problems  for instance guilt, stress, and cause you to do things in a hurry or not as well as you would have otherwise done. Basically all you need to do is to be as accountable to yourself as you are to others. Being accountable or having integrity allows you to shift your focus. If you treat yourself and your needs as if they are equally as important as those of the people that count on you then you are well on your way to letting go of procrastination.
